After 20 years of involvement with non-profit organizations, I sought ways to pair my commitment to social justice with my love of theatre. Determined to produce bold and original stories by new voices, I founded Clear Day Productions in 2018. I support art that champions vulnerability and authenticity and I strive towards greater transparency and equity amongst theater makers.
I was lucky enough to be exposed to the arts as a camper at Interlochen Arts Academy but never had the courage to pursue it as a career. It is deeply satisfying to immerse myself in the world that always felt like home, and it gives me even greater joy to share it with others. The feeling of jostling my way through Times Square to join crowds of people in Schubert Alley will never lose its magic.
The pandemic further cemented my belief that the arts – and theater, in particular – are the heartbeat of New York City. There are few places left where we all come together, put down our phones, join in community and connect. I am a proud Michigander and moved to New York City in 2002 after graduating from The University of Michigan (A.B., ’97, J.D., ’02) and Harvard University Graduate School of Education (Ed.M., ’99). I have completed the Commercial Theater Institute's 14-Week Program, the Theatre Resource Unlimited Masterclass Course and am a member of the New York State Bar Association.

Upon embarking on this new career path I had no connections to the industry. I now find it deeply satisfying to be able to introduce my contacts to others who share this passion.
